Sylvia Bryant received a B.S. in Mathematics
from L.S.U., Baton Rouge, La. and a M.B.A. from University
of Houston. She
established Learning 2 in 1984 and offers varied services to assist
students reach their academic goals. She brings her 8 years of classroom
experience in Mathematics instruction into the tutorials and courses
offered at Learning 2.
George Camp, Ph.D., brings over 20 years of classroom experience into
the tutorials and the SAT/PSAT courses. He has a Ph.D. from Rice University
in German Studies. His extensive experience in teaching English, German,
Spanish, History and Government enables him to provide students with
the tools to achieve their academic goals.
Judith Riley has taught English and social studies for over 20 years.
She has a B.A. in English. and post-baccalaureate credits in English,
Education, and History. She has received awards for teacher/mentor
innovative techniques in the Houston ISD. Her preferred method of tutoring
or small-group teaching is to employ a practical, direct approach in
solving problems with academic learning and in writing compositions.
Mary Ellen Allen has taught and tutored in French and English for many years-at elementary, secondary and university levels. She holds an M. A. in French. Her special interests include helping English as a Second Language learners and native English speakers polish their writing skills. Her teaching experience includes several public and private high schools in the United States as well as at a Moroccan university while volunteering in the Peace Corps.
